Invite athletes

Send an invite by email from the Athletes page. Once an athlete accepts, their activities and plan appear in your console.

Organize your roster

Group athletes into squads or sub-groups to assign plans and review progress in bulk.

The Athletes roster

The Athletes list view shows each runner as a row with the following columns:
  • Athlete — profile image, or the athlete’s first initial when no image is set.
  • Recent activity — latest logged workout.
  • Distance — running distance for the current window.
  • Load — training load for the current window.
  • Next race — the athlete’s next major race, if one is scheduled.
  • Active training — the athlete’s currently active plan. If they have more than one active plan, the extra count appears below the plan name. If they have no active plan, an Assign Training Plan button appears in the cell so you can assign one without opening the profile.
  • Assigned coach — the coach responsible for the athlete. Head coaches can click this cell to assign, replace, or unassign the coach.
  • Actions — per-row quick actions (see below).

Per-row quick actions

Each roster row exposes three actions on the right:
  • Chat — open a direct message with the athlete.
  • Calendar — jump straight to the athlete’s calendar.
  • More actions — a menu with the rest of the athlete controls, including group membership, view profile, and remove athlete.

Assign a plan

You have two ways to assign a training plan:
  • From the Athletes roster, click Assign Training Plan in the Active training column for any athlete who does not yet have an active plan.
  • From an athlete’s profile, assign an individual training plan or add them to a group plan.

Edit a personal plan’s description

Open a personal training plan and click the More actions () button next to the plan name. Choose Edit description to update the summary shown under the plan name, then click Save. The updated description is saved through the same plan update path as rename and archive.
Removing an athlete from your roster also removes their scheduled sessions tied to your plans. Their personal account and history stay intact.

Lock a week on an individual plan

You can lock a specific week on an athlete’s individual training plan to signal that the week is final. Open the plan calendar and use the lock control on the week header to lock or unlock.
  • A locked week shows a lock icon on the athlete’s mobile calendar for that week.
  • Unlocking a week sends the athlete a push notification. Locking is silent.
  • The athlete’s mobile app refreshes the plan automatically. Foregrounded apps update within seconds; on iOS a backgrounded app may not update until it is opened again.
Group plan weeks are locked from the group plan itself. See Lock a week under Group plans.
