The referral program rewards you for bringing running friends to NexRex. A friend who signs up with your invite code gets a 30-day Pro trial right away. For every 3 friends who finish their first recorded run, you earn a 1-month Pro coupon. The referral program is available in the NexRex app only. ## Where to find it * **Settings → Invites & rewards** has a row for each part of the program: * **Invite runners** shows your invite code and progress, and opens the referral home screen. * **Pro month coupons** opens your coupon wallet. * **Use coupons when my subscription ends** turns auto-apply on or off. * **Notify me when a friend finishes a first run** turns friend notifications on or off. * **Enter invite code** lets you claim a friend's code within 7 days of signing up. * **Referral program rules** opens the full rules. * **Race campaigns** with an invite button open the referral home screen. ## Invite friends The **Invite runners** screen shows: * **Your invite code**, a 6-character code. Tap **Copy** to copy it. * **Next Pro month**, your progress toward the next coupon (for example, 2 / 3). * **Share invite link**, which opens your phone's share sheet with a message and your invite link. * **My Pro month coupons**, a preview of your wallet. * Tiles for friends **Awaiting first run**, friends with **First run done**, and **Months earned**. Tap a tile to open referral progress. Your invite link has the form `https://nexrex.ai/r/CODE`, for example: ```text theme={null} https://nexrex.ai/r/K7Q2MX ``` If your friend has the NexRex app installed, the link opens the app and saves the code. If not, the link opens a landing page that copies the code and sends them to the App Store or Google Play. ## Join with an invite code If a friend invited you, you can enter their code in two places: * **During onboarding.** The optional **Did a friend invite you?** step appears after you sign in. If you opened an invite link before signing up, the code is already filled in. Otherwise, type it or tap **Paste invite code**. NexRex shows who invited you. Tap **Get 30 days of Pro** to claim it, or skip the step. * **From Settings.** Open **Settings → Invites & rewards → Enter invite code**. Your 30-day Pro trial starts as soon as you claim the code. A few rules apply: * You can claim a code only within 7 days of creating your account. * Each account can use one invite code, ever. * You can't use your own code. * A code saved from a link but not yet claimed expires after 30 days or when you sign out. If you open an invite link while signed in, NexRex shows **Invite code saved: CODE** with an **Enter code** action. ## How rewards work * A referral counts once your friend records their first qualifying run within 30 days of claiming your code. * Every 3 qualified friends earn you a 1-month Pro coupon. * You can earn up to 6 coupons. After that, friends who use your code still get their trial, but you don't earn more coupons. * Coupons are valid for 12 months after you earn them. ### Qualifying runs A friend's first run counts only if it meets all of these: * It's a run recorded by a device or app, not entered by hand. * It covers at least 1 km. * It lasts at least 5 minutes. * It has a plausible running pace, between 2:30 and 15:00 per km. The same run can count toward only one referral. A run that started before the 30-day deadline still counts if it syncs within 72 hours after the deadline. ### Privacy You only see whether a friend has finished their first run and when. You never see their distance, pace, route, or other activity data. Friends' names appear partly masked. ## Referral progress The **Referral progress** screen lists everyone who used your code. Filter with the **All**, **Awaiting**, and **Done** chips. * **Awaiting first run** rows show how many days your friend has left. The count turns amber when 7 or fewer days remain. Tap **Remind** to send them a nudge through the share sheet. * **Month N · in progress** groups friends who count toward your next coupon. * **Turned into coupons** lists each earned month with the friends who earned it. * **Expired** lists friends who didn't run within the window. ## Coupon wallet Open **Settings → Invites & rewards → Pro month coupons** to see your coupons. Each coupon shows one of these states: | State | Meaning | | - | - | | **Available** | Ready to use. Tap it to redeem. | | **Banked** | Saved while you have an App Store, Google Play, or web subscription. | | **In use** | Redeemed, and your Pro period from it is running. | | **Used** | Redeemed, and its Pro period has ended. | | **Expired** | Not used within 12 months of being earned. | Every unused coupon shows its **Use by** date. ### Redeem a coupon Tap an available coupon to open the redeem sheet. It shows your current **Pro until** date and the **Extended to** date after redeeming. * Tap **Use coupon** to redeem. The month is added after your current Pro period ends. Redeeming can't be undone. * Tap **Keep it** to leave the coupon in your wallet. Pro unlocks right away, with no app restart needed. ### Store subscribers and auto-apply While you pay for Pro through the App Store, Google Play, or the web, your coupons stay **Banked**. You can't redeem them manually, and they never change your store billing. With **Use automatically when my subscription ends** turned on (the default), NexRex applies your banked coupons one after another when your paid subscription ends. Your Pro continues without a gap. The wallet shows a timeline of when each coupon starts. A coupon that would expire before your subscription ends is marked **Will expire before your subscription ends**. With auto-apply turned off, coupons stay in your wallet after your subscription ends. Redeem them yourself any time before they expire. Auto-apply only runs after a paid subscription ends. If you've never had a paid subscription, redeem coupons manually. ### Lifetime Pro If you have Lifetime Pro, you can't redeem coupons. They stay saved in your wallet. ### Redeem errors * **You have an active subscription. The coupon stays in your wallet until it ends.** * **You already have lifetime Pro, so this coupon was kept in your wallet.** * **This coupon has already been used.** * **This coupon has expired.** ## Notifications NexRex sends these push notifications: * **Your friend finished their first run!** when a friend qualifies. Turn this off with **Notify me when a friend finishes a first run** in **Settings → Invites & rewards**. * **You earned a Pro month coupon!** when 3 friends qualify and a new coupon lands in your wallet. * **Your Pro continues** when NexRex auto-applies your coupons, with your new Pro end date.
