# Account settings

> Profile, units, notifications, and connections.

## Profile & units

Set your name, time zone, and preferred units (metric or imperial) under
**Settings → Profile**.

## Language

NexRex is available in:

* **English** (`en`)
* **Traditional Chinese** (`zh-TW`)
* **Japanese** (`ja`)

The app follows your device language when it matches one of the supported
options, and falls back to English otherwise. This covers in-app surfaces
including the weekly check-in chat, analytics, calendar, and coach tools.

## Notifications

Choose which updates you receive — weekly summaries, coach messages, and plan
changes — under **Settings → Notifications**.

### Notification inbox

Every notification NexRex sends you is also kept in an in-app inbox so you can
revisit it later — handy if you dismissed a push notification or want to reopen
last week's summary.

Open the inbox from the **bell icon** in the top-right of the home screen. A
small badge on the bell shows how many unread notifications you have.

From the inbox you can:

* **Tap a notification** to jump back to what it was about — a weekly summary,
  an activity detail, a coach comment, or a plan update. Tapping also marks
  that notification as read.
* **Mark all read** with the action in the top bar to clear the unread badge
  in one step.

Unread items are highlighted; read items appear muted. If you've never received
a notification, or you've already read everything, you'll see "You're all
caught up."

<Note>
  If you use NexRex as both a runner and a coach, you'll see a separate bell in
  the coach inbox header showing your coaching notifications (athletes'
  activities, comments, and training events). Each bell has its own unread
  count, so runner and coach streams stay independent.
</Note>

## Connections

Manage linked services like Garmin, Strava, and Apple Health under
**Settings → Connections**. See [Connect a device](/athletes/connect-device).
